Accounting and Statistics Office Activity Information

This Office’s accounting system was changed to operations funds as of January 1, 2021. The original system could not be directly linked to the current Special Fund Budget and Accounting Information Management System (abbreviated as “SBA”) data, which caused quite a lot of inconveniences in operations. Therefore, it joined in the operation of the “Irrigation Association Operations Fund Accounting System” (abbreviated as “IAA”), in March 2023, integrated and developed by the Irrigation Agency, aiming at facilitating a direct data link to the SBA system.

To smoothly implement the new system, we particularly invited Wu Ming-tsung and Li Fu-shun, the project managers of Knowledge and Service Information Corp., to the Central District Computer Education Center, Yuanlin Branch for a lecture given on March 27, focusing on estimation, accounting and cashier operations systems background introduction and demonstration of operations process, which increased the colleagues’ familiarity in the operation of accounting system through such course.

The system is currently continuing to expand the final accounts and advance budget estimate preparation functions to improve work efficiency and internal controls. It is expected that future accounting will be implemented in the IAA system to achieve resource sharing and integration.
